Mind your head. A classic blooper from the original Star Wars movie has been spotted in Dice’s all new Star Wars Battlefront game.
Remember that moment when the troopers came marching through the door in the original Star Wars movie and one of the troopers bumps their head on the door? Well it seems that the developers behind Star Wars Battlefront are not willing to let that classic blooper disappear anytime soon.
They have immortalised it in their latest Star Wars adventure. The blooper is just as unexpectedly brilliant as it was the first time I saw it in the movie. You want to be looking at the Stormtrooper on the right, no wonder they can’t shoot straight.
Forget all the other nods to the movie that we have found so far, in my book -this is the best. This brilliant Easter egg can be found in the opening cinematic to the ‘Overpower’ training mission.
If you look past the two stormtroopers that are featured in the intro and take a gander at the two that walk behind them in the background, you will see the closest of the two hit his head on a support strut. I actually don’t know which video is funnier – the real footage or Battlefront’s homage.
The Missions you ask? Yes, that’s the other side to the game that hardly any one is playing because we are all too busy trying to take down the mighty Walkers.
EA and Dice have worked tirelessly with Disney and J.J. Abrams to produce aStar Wars experience that is consistent with the brand and boy have they gone an extra mile or two. Battlefront is fast becoming the ultimate Star Warsexperience.
Have you found any other Battlefront easter eggs? Battlefront is now available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
